The mission of BulletPoints is to teach medical and mental health care providers how to reduce the risk of firearm injury in their patients. The BulletPoints website was designed to provide clinicians the knowledge and tools they need to discuss risks of firearm access with their patients and to intervene when someone is at risk. The website is a rich resource, incorporating the best available research, clinical best practices and evidence based recommendations to help clinicians become more informed. The BulletPoints Project’s ongoing work includes developing continuing education courses for clinicians, clinical decision support tools, and an educator toolkit.
